Thanks for your comments We are currently revising the texts and will fix these examples. We did, as part of the MathML 1.01 revison, pull out `all' the MathML examples in the text and validate them (with the same nsgmls parser you used). So your message obviously points out to an error somewhere in the code to extract the examples. Need to check what happened there.... David
