>Is the time field in GMT or local time? If it's "loggers choice", should >there be a way in embed that info in the file? I think it should be GMT. Otherwise there will be all sorts of problems trying to collate logfiles from servers distribute3d across multiple time zones. This would be a real pain in the butt for the cache notification protocol in particular. Phill
