Finally got there. The problem is that libtool is generated with errors where some variables aren't quoted. Graham. -----Original Message----- From: Graham Goodman Sent: 19 May 2003 17:13 To: 'www-lib@w3.org' Subject: w3c-libwww on Solaris 9 Has anyone compiled w3c-libwww on Solaris 9? Can't find any specific issues on the web, but I get the following error when trying to 'make': /bin/sh ../../../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../.. -g -O2 -Wall -DXML_NS -c xmlrole.c ../../../libtool: test: argument expected Have installed this on Solaris 8 before, and didn't have any problems, so not sure if this brainfreeze on my part, or a peculiarity of Solaris 9. Running gcc 3.2.3 and GNU make 3.80. Thanks, Graham Goodman.
