Shared Libray Error!!

   Hi,


   I just installed the 5.2 ditribution version of lib-www.   I can 
compile the test code without any problems.  The problems occur when I 
try to run the
code.  I get the following error:

       error while loading shared libraries: libwwwxml.so.0: cannot load 
shared object file: No such file or directory

   I know that this file exist in the /usr/local/lib directory as a link 
to another file in the same directory.  I have checked permissions on 
the file and
they look like they are fine.   I am running Red Hat 7.1 if that helps.  
Any suggestions
