Configuring and making without-md5 from Chang, Fang-Kuey on 2001-07-26 (www-lib@w3.org from July to September 2001)

I have configured libwww to build wihout the md5 package and enabling shared
libraries on Solaris 8.  During the build I get unresolved symbols in
libwwwhttp.so referencing the md5 package (MD5Final, MD5Init, MD5Update).
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
