Re: http request

Hi,
I am using lib-WWW in our XML wrapper project. Where I am finding problem, when I am going to use http:// request. 
Let suppose, my xml file is in my local machine, which is validated by some external DTD at some http:// location. The url does not for local intranet because I have tested it for local intranet by using windows IIS.
Now will you kindly help me how can I send the http:// or ftp:// request to authenticate the proxy server so that I can refer to the external DTD  any where in the http:// or ftp:// location.
