Hello Erik, I just commited some autotool script updates to the libwww/config directory. These are just a copy of some of the scripts found in the autotools. According to Henrik: In the distribution package, there is a config folder where the libtool etc config files are - these are used if the host machine doesn't have libtool installed. Make sure that the latest config files are copied to this folder as otherwise people will have problems making the package. I'm a bit confused as to why just some scripts are needed. In all cases, I hadn't updated them in the the 5.3.0pre release. Could you do a cvs update, then try to bootstrap the libwww and compile again? Hopefully, it should work better. It does work for me. Eventually, I could also commit the configure file. I noticed that this is current in other open source projects. A final note... the latest autoconf release is v2.13. v2.14 wasn't an official one and it's not advised to use it. It came to live because someone made an accidental release of the CVS snapshot. Hope this helps, -Jose
