SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4

Hi
 
Does anyone there know if someone has used libwww to create a SMTP, POP3 or
IMAP4 implementation?
 
If so, I would very much like to hear from them. We are doing a new mail
implementation here and are interested in using libwww for it.
