w3c -source

When I used w3c with -source option, the program seems to wait for
input even after it has obtained the whole document. E.g.,

   % w3c -source http://www.w3.org/

I got similar behavior with mget after changing WWW_SOURCE in the code
to WWW_RAW. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
