Following up on the recent discussions on putting up a new release, I have added a headline to the libwww top page http://www.w3.org/Library/ requesting your help in making sure that the release is stable. The best way you can help is to get the latest version from the current CVS code base http://www.w3.org/Library/cvs.html#update and try it out in your environment. If you find any problems then please investigate and if at all possible, propose a fix to this list so that we can get it in before the release. Just saying that something is wrong is also OK but is much less likely to get fixed. I am also looking for new basic sample applications: http://www.w3.org/Library/Examples/ and help updating out-of-date documentation. PS: The libwww code base has since May been checked out (not updated) more than 460 times. That is, there are 460 working copies spread around among this group. This is a good indication that the open CVS tree actually works. Have fun, Henrik -- Henrik Frystyk Nielsen, World Wide Web Consortium http://www.w3.org/People/Frystyk
