gopher sites allowed?

Hi,

I'm using the latest 5.1b www lib, and when I try to
look up a gopher site, e.g.
gopher://gopher.genie.com/70/11/magazines.romex

my application core dumps with the following call stack

Call stack:
HTRequest_delete(me = 0x1001f540) ["HTReqMan.c":163]
....

Assuming my application is setting things up correctly,
(I can look up HTTP sites fine) how compatible is
 the 5.1b wwwlib with gopher sites? I seem to be
able to look up FTP sites (e.g. ftp://ftp.apple.com)
OK too.
