You have to add the jigsaw.jar and jigadmin.jar to your classpath !!! It is clearly defined in the installation procedure, see http://www.w3.org/Jigsaw/Doc/User/installation.html Hope it helps, Stephane ----- Original Message ----- From: Zeynep Y Teksen To: Stephane Nicoll Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 4:38 PM Subject: Re: simple question here is the error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/w3c/jigsaw/http/httpd at Install.install<Install.java:133> at Install.main<Install.java:210> ----- Original Message ----- From: Stephane Nicoll To: Zeynep Y Teksen Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 5:28 PM Subject: Re: simple question What is the error? ----- Original Message ----- From: Zeynep Y Teksen To: www-jigsaw@w3.org Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 4:27 PM Subject: simple question hi all, i hava a question about the installation of jigsaw2.2.0. i am using java2 and when i am trying to install jigsaw an error occurs. i am wondering that whether the problem is about the version of java package that i am using. do we have to use jdk1.3 for using jigsaw or upper versions are OK? thanx
