Due to the french policy, it was impossible to work on an SSL version of
Jigsaw. The IAIK code is mainly their SSL code with a wrapper to fit in
Jigsaw. This wrapper is quite small and works only with 2.0.1.
I updated it to work with 2.0.3 and up.
Their SSL work is supported, so is Jigsaw. It must be close to the real
thing then.
I have heard some people in this list talking about doing an
implementation of SSL in Jigsaw, using SSLeay (native code) but no news
from that point. I hpe that at some point another version will rise, as it
is always good to have different implementations.
