Jigsaw server working directory

Hello,

When running a CGI script located at 
/home/<usename>/jigsaw_server/Jigsaw/Jigsaw/WWW/cgi-bin
and having it print the `pwd` we get as result
/home/<username>/
and suprisingly not /home/<username>/jigsaw_server/Jigsaw/Jigsaw/WWW/

why?
can we control this working directory?

This poses a problem, since we can't tell which directory exactly to write in 
the HTML form which calls the CGI.
