Cookie support?

I see CookieFilter in org.w3c.www.protocol.http.cookies but I see no helpers
anywhere for cookie functions such as  getting, setting and removing
cookies.

Am I braindead or is this simple cookie-related stuff not there?

If not there, has anyone used the Http Client API to build such cookie
processing?  Anyone do with HotJava?
