With the combination of MSIE & IIS this seems not to cause trouble, but when using Jigsaw as a proxy in between the two it trips up trying to parse the non-existent header. Easily fixed by mending the CGI programs, but maybe Jigsaw should report syntax errors? Thanks for your reply which pointed me in the right direction. kit
