'Upload-Applet' for HTTP PUT and persitant storage

Hi,

1.) could someone scatch a application or applet to upload a file to a putable dir in 
jigsaw's space. This would be a nice demo for the next  distribition? (when ?)

2.) What is the best (easiest) way of storing persistant information? I have a postable resource 
(a poll to collect Yes and No) and would like to display the given numbers of pros and cons.
