Jigsaw as proxy (viewed archives already).

I took a look at the www-jigsaw mailing list archives in an attempt to
get my server to be a proxy server and found directions on how to do it.
I followed the directions, but jigsaw is still not acting as a proxy
server.  Here's what I did:

Added proxy resource as ProxyDirectory
Changed httpd.props and changed root.name to "proxy" (name of above
resource)
Restarted server

Can anyone give me some hints here.  What I need is a proxy server only
and nothing else.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks....
