The CSS WG has published an updated Working Draft of the CSS Text Module Level 4, which covers white space processing; line breaking; text spacing, justification, and alignment; and text transformation. https://www.w3.org/TR/css-text-4/ This update significantly refactors the 'text-spacing' property, completes the refactoring of 'white-space' into shorthands, and renames its 'text-space-*' longhands back to 'white-space-*'. We encourage everyone to review the syntax and behaviors of these two shorthands and their longhands, since several implementations are currently in progress: * https://www.w3.org/TR/css-text-4/#white-space-property * https://www.w3.org/TR/css-text-4/#text-spacing-property Significant changes (and links to their discussions) are listed at: https://www.w3.org/TR/2023/WD-css-text-4-20230329/#changes Please review the draft, and send any comments to this mailing list, <www-style@w3.org>, prefixed with [css-text-4] (as I did on this message) or (preferably) file them in the GitHub repository at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues For the CSS WG, ~fantasai
