-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: [Moderator Action] script faq suggestions Date: Fri, 11 Jan 2019 15:12:42 +0000 From: Silvestri, Holly Ann - (hollysilvestri) <hollysilvestri@email.arizona.edu> To: www-international@w3.org <www-international@w3.org> I am working on a project in Thai, Vietnamese, and Ilocano (Philippines) and I need to know: a. Language directionality (LTR? Top to bottom? Or ?) b. Do these languages tend to expand or contract compared to English? (As you know with Western languages like Spanish documents in target language tend to be about 30% longer) I would appreciate any help you might give me in resolving these issues.
