The lookup algorithm seems to make the script tag block sensible matches, which is why the filtering algorithm is more appealing to me.

e.g.

if I have a fr-CN analyzer, and text tagged as fr-LATN-CN then the lookup algorithm fails and the filtering algorithm would not.
