Hi www-international, many people on this list have made comments on the 1st ITS 2.0 last call draft http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/WD-its20-20121206/ we have published a second last call draft in May http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-its20-20130521/ and are about to leave last call. With this mail we want to make you aware of the re-write of the informative sections 1-2. We had made our intention to re-write these sections explicit in the last call draft http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/WD-its20-20130521/#status "The other, non-normative sections contain only explanatory material and will be updated in a later working draft." In the current editor's copy we changed sections 1-2. See http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html If you have any feedback please let us know. Also, to respond to the comment "HTML5 in the ITS spec" http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt-comments/2013Jan/0071.html we have written a dedicated subsection, see http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#specific-HTML-support Please let us know whether you are ok with this section. Also, we have changed this example http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#EX-motivation-its-2 to better fit into the introduction. Norbert had raised a comment on the previous version of the example https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/100 That comment was related to use of coordinates in the example. The new examples doesn't have coordinates at all, since they are not important for our argumentation here. Let us know if that is OK with you. Thanks, Felix (on behalf of the MLW-LT WG)
