Embeddings and Overrides: the ‘unicode-bidi’ property http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-writing-modes/#unicode-bidi "Within the element, its contents are considered, for the purposes of bidi resolution, to be inside a separate, independent document whose bidi paragraphs are assigned the base directionality specified by the element's ‘direction’ property." Or presumably also the direction specified on a parent element?
