Dear Members of www-international, Welcome to the Internationalization Interest Group (I18N IG). As some of you may already know, e.g. from the news item "W3C Launches Internationalization Activity" on the W3C home page (http://www.w3.org), the Internationalization Activity has been relaunched. As part of this relaunch, the Internationalization Interest Group has been made public, and has been merged with this mailing list (www-international@w3.org). This means that by being subscribed to this list, you are now a member of the I18N IG. If for any reason, you shouldn't like this, please unsubscribe by sending a mail to www-international-request@w3.org with 'subscribe' (without quotes) in the Subject. (you should also be able to do this by clicking on the URI in the relevant header of this mail). If you decide to stay, please make sure that you have a short look at the new charter at http://www.w3.org/2004/11/i18n-recharter/ig-charter, in particular the section at the end on Patent Disclosures. Please see http://www.w3.org/International for participation opportunities in the new WGs. Regards, Martin (IG chair).
