Thanks to all those who provided links and information on the subjet. Barry
provided me with the keyword I was missing: "geolocation". After that, I did
my home work :).

I18nGurus has now 2 new categories:

Tools > geolocation : For all the companies that offers geolocation services
(I found a half a dozen). Interestingly while all these companies claim
super accuracy most of them don't dare puting a demo on the web :). - The
exceptions I found so far are the free NetWorldMap and InfoSplit.

Research > geolocation : For all the 'how-to' white papers and technical
information. I don't have much there yet.
