Amaya has supported Unicode since release 4.2 of 21 December 2000 http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/New.html However, although it can read, parse, edit and save UTF-8 files, the font support is presently lacking so one sees 'missing glyph' instead of Japanese characters. -- Chris
