Hallo Matthias, The IBM site offers some info on Unicode and XML, here is one example: http://www-4.ibm.com/software/developer/library/globalsoft.html?dwzone=opensource but do a search in their libraries, there is more there. I guess you are stuck with Windows for now, only MS has full right-to-left implementation as far as I know. We have several discussion here between developers about what editors to use, Emacs and some IBM editors are the most favored here, I recall XSL being mentioned: http://service2.boulder.ibm.com/devcon/devcon/docs/catalog.htm#00072 Viel Vergnügen, Dave Possin Matthias Wassermann <m.wassermann@mai-kg.d To: www-international@w3.org e> cc: Sent by: Subject: Arabic UNicode in XML www-international-requ est@w3.org 12/01/00 12:49 AM Hello I am looking into implementing unicode Arabic texts in XML. Do you have any information on this subject? Do know of any OS that will support right to left text direction other than Microsoft? Would you know of any unicode enabled editor that can handle real unicode in XML? Matthias
