Hi, I have started a web page for itemizing the issues (and advantages) with locales. Once they are all (more or less) collected in one place, I'll perhaps start a page for proposals. You can get to the page from my home page, or go direct: http://www.i18nguy.com/locales/index.html I collected my own hot buttons and some of the items in the first few emails of the locales discussion. I'll keep adding as I continue to review the list. (I think I am up to Nov. something now.) If you want me add your own hot button right away, feel free to email it to me, but please keep it a short, to the point, succinct statement that I can paste more or less directly into the table. Did I say to keep it short? ;-) If you simply must expand and defend it, then put the text to paste into the list into the top of the email, clearly separated from the rest and then you can expand all you want. One per email would be nice. Constructive suggestions for the current text, format, etc. also gratefully accepted. tex -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Tex Texin mailto:Tex@i18nGuy.com http://www.i18nGuy.com ------------------------------------------------------------- For a compelling demonstration for Unicode: http://www.i18nguy.com/unicode/unicode-example-intro.html ################################################################# ################################################################# ################################################################# ##### ##### ##### ################################################################# ################################################################# #################################################################
