Section 3.1.6 "bits and bytes (also known as octets)" Change bytes to 8-bit bytes. The reason why is because historically there have been such things as 7-bit bytes. IMHO, "bit sequences" is even better than "octets", although even UTF-16 is expressed in terms of octets. There are many other references to "bytes" in the document.
