Dear all, I want to provide an external alternate resource for my web community. Is it possible? I'll try to explain better. My community http://www.qmpeople.com/ has a translated version http://www.qmpeople.fr/ Two questions: - can I write: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr" type="text/html" href=" http://www.qmpeople.fr/"> ? - can I write: <link rel="alternate" hreflang="fr" type="text/html" href=" http://fr.qmpeople.com/"> with a 301 redirect from http://fr.qmpeople.com to http://www.qmpeople.fr ? By reading http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/links.html#h-12.3.3 it seems that both these two tecniques are not explicitly disallowed. Thank you Roberto
