The above are grandfathered from 1970s or earlier character sets and
I haven't seen them used for their proper purpose for almost that long.
Modern usage is tag-length-value or SGML type markup.

> LS 2028 Line separator
> PS 2029 Paragraph separator

These are just attempts to clarify the meaning of LF, another very
old character.
