XHTML 2 requirements document

Hi,

I've been looking to review the XHTML 2.0 working draft, but I can't seem to
find a requirements document or anything on the aim or problems that XHTML
is trying to solve, could someone point it out to me, and maybe add a link
to the HTML WG's home page?
