That's why various proposals are mentioned as issues in the Working Draft. That doesn't guarantee at all that those proposals will be adopted, those issues simply indicate that there were such proposals, and let others comment on them. If there's sufficient support for a given proposal, it might be adopted, otherwise it will be dropped. I would say most of them would eventually be dropped, as the WG is in favor of making XHTML2 smaller and simpler, rather than bigger. Your feedback matters. P.S.
