XHTML Page from Russ Thompson on 2002-07-07 (www-html@w3.org from July 2002)

I have created a web site using XML Version 1.0/XHTML and CSS.  I have 
run the page through the validater at W3C and it shows no errors.  The 
page works well using Netscape 6.0, but when I try to view the page in 
I.E. 5.0 I see the source code instead of the web page.  

Please, can someone explain this to me?
