We have a "maintainer" of this list, and he checks bounced messages and forwards some messages if those are appropriate for this list. There may be some auto-filtering (e.g. "unsubscribe" messages are blocked), but otherwise messages sent to this list are NOT checked by the maintainer. Please don't expect that the W3C has enough human resources to check all the messages sent to public mailing lists promptly. Moderators of public mailing lists might travel frequently, like most of them did last week, and it will not be desirable to stop discussion on public mailing lists just because maintainers are off-line. If you have better ideas to filter out junk mails, please send your ideas to <web-human@w3.org>, NOT to this list. Thanks for your understanding.
