Dave,

I apologize that I sent the message you keep referring to. You are correct,
I didn't read the charter. I thought that this was a friendly mailing list
that developers could use to ask questions.  I won't be using this list
anymore.

The only references to Javascript are in non-normative examples.

I strongly suspect you have not read or understood the list 
charter.
