When I declare the text field size attribute, the text field appears much longer in Netscape than in Internet Explorer. For example, I have a text field size set at 60. Internet Explorer displays the text field, and one can type exactly 60 characters in the field before the characters start scrolling off. Netscape, however, allows room for about 80 characters. This is causing problems with my site because Netscape will make the text fields so long that they go off they page, and I have to horizontally scroll to the end of them--a very undesirable behavior. Any ideas on making text fields look the exact same size in either IE or Netscape? Thanks. David Meyer dpmeyer@unity.ncsu.edu
