Well, I've already had a rather enthusiastic response in the last few hours from three separate individuals, one an expert in PHP and another a coauthor of the Modularization specification. Thanks! The strength of that enthusiasm is encouraging me to launch an official DTD Modularizer project at http://www.jslab.org/dtd-mod . (Site will be up very soon -- probably within two hours.) We're going to start with PHP for now, but we'll welcome other languages as well (CGI/Perl comes to mind for the W3C servers) in very short order. (As in just say you'd be willing to do a version in your language, and welcome aboard!) I'd like to know if any volunteers here understand CVS or SSH/SCP well enough for me to transfer the project to SourceForge, or if you can recommend another collaborative host. I don't know either one of those protocols, so I'm up the creek without a paddle on SourceForge. It also makes it difficult for anyone to contribute code without going through me first (and my ego's not that big) at jslab.org. Any kind of logistical support I can get for this to create a public working environment I'd appreciate. My overall goal here would be to create a suite we could submit for use and preferably hosting by the World Wide Web Consortium.
