netscape is not integrated into the OS. ;)

yes you can install more than 1 versions of netscape. just make sure you
install them in different directories, though.
oh! and if you're running one instance of netscpae 4.7, even if you open
netscape 4.08 it'll open up netscape 4.7.
so quit all netscape and open other versions of netscape.
