ANNOUNCE: XHTML mailing list at eGroups

I'd like to invite everyone here (who's interested, of course!) to join a
mailing list dedicated to discussing XHTML, the next generation of HTML.

The list is based at eGroups:
http://www.egroups.com/group/XHTML-L

While XHTML seems like a minor change to HTML in some ways, the
implications and new potentials of this emerging standard are enormous and
largely uncharted.

I'm hoping that the XHTML-L list can bring together people from both the
HTML and XML communities and shed some light on what XHTML has to offer to
both communities. I'm very fond of www-html, and expect that lively XHTML
and HTML discussion will continue here, but I'm hoping that the creation of
a forum explicitly dedicated to work in XHTML will encourage the
development of more XHTML sites and tools.

Webmasters, software developers, and anyone who might be interested in
XHTML are welcome to join. I'm hoping that the list will be a place where
developers of all levels can find the information they need to make the
most of a promising new technology. Archives are public, though only
members may post.

To subscribe, send email to XHTML-L-subscribe@egroups.com or visit the site
