Probably 93. The term 'HTML 1.0' was used in the June 93 internet draft (which see: http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/MarkUp/draft-ietf-iiir-html-01.txt) TimBL goofed it (the 1.0 DTD) up somehow when he made the internet draft. My copy has always parsed. The changelog of html.dtd from 1992/12/03 to March 95 is at: http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/MarkUp/html-spec/ChangeLog If anybody wants the RCS file, I could put that online as well. revision 1.25 date: 1995/03/29 18:53:13; author: connolly; state: Exp; lines: +4 -5 Updated author info, fixed a typo in META comment ---------------------------- revision 1.24 date: 1995/02/06 21:28:45; author: connolly; state: Exp; lines: +134 -156 Merge in some SDA changes from yuri@sq.com ---------------------------- revision 1.23 date: 1995/01/28 05:59:34; author: connolly; state: Exp; lines: +106 -93 Spacing changes in DTD to meet production needs.
