Once upon a time Heikki Vesalainen shaped the electrons to say... >> >>1600x1200 256 colors .5% >> >>1600x1200 16 million colors .5% >And there you can see that if I make my background pictures 1300 wide >(as proposed), it won't be enough! Hell.. what will? Exactly. In other words - you are on the wrong path. You need to rethink your entire design and come up with a background that can tile since that is what will happen. And these are PCs - what about SGI's with 24 bit color and large screens? Other work stations? The slew of different Mac screen sizes.. It will never work, and even if the capability was introduced tomorrow you still have *millions* of people who would have older browsers. This is a design issue, it should not be an issue of changing the technology to suit a design, but changing the design to suit audience. -MZ -- Although I work for Livingston Enterprises Technical Support, I alone am responsible for everything contained herein.
