Here are two pointers that should get you started with transparent GIFs: http://dragon.jpl.nasa.gov/~adam/transparent.html http://www.galcit.caltech.edu/~ta/tgif/transgifnotes.html One of these should point to a couple of sites that have an automatic on-line gizmo that will convert your GIF to a transparent version... but you must put your .GIF in your web directory and be able to supply a URL that points to it.
