Recently I am running up against a problem. I have a CGI script that reads
a remote page, but I don't know how to talk with the server. I have made
the following guess:
telnet> open thishost.thisdoamin 80
...
GET thispath/thispage.html HTTP//
will this work? Is there a better way? Is this problem best left to proxies?
