Images and Text

Good Day,

I have recently subscribed to this list so maybe the question I am asking 
has been discussed earlier, but here is the problem I am trying to find a 
solution for:

How to display text over an image. The idea being that the text can be 
updated as necessary, keeping the image the same, in the background.

Is it possible. if so need guidance.

Please also add the HTML Ver. prior to which it may not work. In which 
case, will the commands be ignored.
