Hello. This question is being posted for those of you maintaining web servers. I have currently put up the web server for Kean College of New Jersey. I ran into some difficulties with the setup. I edited the configuration files and made the default home page directory /local/Web. The question is this..... I have over 500 users on our system. Their personal homepages are stored in their user directories. How do I create the hyperlink into their user directory? I have assumed to use the entire path (example /usr/students/account/et....) but it does not work when I try to retrieve their html documents through a browser. I tried playing with the rights on the file, but nothing let me view that file. Has anyone setup a system like mine? If so, what did you do in this situations? Thanks in advnace. Visit our site if you'd like, it';s new, but getting thier. HTTP://www.kean.edu:8080/ ..........................................................................
