To save time for anyone who uses Unix (unless they have a Sun) <http://www.adobe.com/Acrobat/AcrobatWWW.html> says "Adobe has FREE Acrobat Reader software available that you can download for Macintosh, Windows, DOS, and Sun UNIX." <http://www.adobe.com/Software.html> also tells us that the MS-Windows and Mac software is at version 2.0 while the DOS and Sun (4.1.3 or Solaris 2.3) versions are at version 1.0. It also says: "Sorry, no other versions of Acrobat Reader are currently available We are working on versions for Windows NT and HP/UX as well as some others. Schedule and availability have not yet been announced." This does not sound too hopeful for Unix users. -- Chris Lilley, Technical Author +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Manchester and North HPC Training & Education Centre | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Computer Graphics Unit, Email: Chris.Lilley@mcc.ac.uk | | Manchester Computing Centre, Voice: +44 61 275 6045 | | Oxford Road, Manchester, UK.
