Re: What is PDF? (Re: PRE)

PDF is the file forrmat used by Adobe Acrobat.  It is a type of on-line 
documentation that offers the advantages of easy conversion from Word, easy 
printing of documentation and some bookmarking.  It is commonly used to 
distribute software documentation.

What is ``PDF''?  I've heard that it's a Web formatting language.
