I mean, what do you think of such use : There are any number of good reasons. Most of them are addressed by the FIG tag in HTML 3. Since it's been designed right, if a browser doesn't recognize it you get the alternate text instead. If your favorite GUI browser doesn't recognize it, you should complain to the author. <mike
