This may be a slightly bizarre question given the expertise of people on this list, and the resources that you all have to hand, but here goes <g> We have rented web space provider's computer and access it via PP/SLIP. We want an option to allow users of our commercial software to register via this page if they want. We have written the form to get this info but now the problem starts. I want the info sent to me as email but I can't work out how to do this. >From the various html pages about forms I've read everything, expects you to post to a server running a C or perl program to manipulate the data. Is there a POST command that I can set up to email the entry database to me without going via a server program, or must I write a perl script? If the latter, can someone point me at a decent perl primer (preferably an html document as I don't fancy spending $35 just for this one thing <G>)? Better yet, has anyone done this? And if so, can I steal your form/perl script to use as an example?
